The Historic Setting

Built in the 18th century, the ferry house at Van Cortlandt Manor once welcomed travelers crossing the Croton River. With rooms for lodging, meals prepared in the Keeper’s Room, and a lively tap room, it was a hub of rest and news along the Albany Post Road. Today, it continues that tradition of hospitality as The Gourd and Goblet Tavern.

” We got the VIP tickets with the tavern experience and we loved that it was about halfway through the path. It was so cozy and really tied the entire experience together.”
