🍁 Hello, September! Blaze season is just around the corner—get ready for pumpkins, magic, and jack o'lanterns that will light up autumn nights.
Did you know?

The Great Jack O’Lantern Blaze is back for its 21st year, lighting up the Hudson Valley from September 12 – November 16 across 52 magical nights!

Some Blaze stats that might blow your mind:

🎃 2+ million visitors have experienced Blaze since 2005

🎃 7,000+ pumpkins on display

🎃 25,000 live pumpkins used each year, call carved by hand by a team of 12 artists

🎃 1,000 volunteers help light the pumpkins over the 52 nights—it takes almost 2 hours to light them all!

🎃 An all-original soundtrack created by Richard Christy plays throughout the event

Did you know The Gourd & Goblet Tavern is located inside an 18th-century building? The Van Cortlandt Manor Ferry House once welcomed travelers crossing the Croton River. Inside, visitors could find a meal, rent a room, and trade the latest news of the day before continuing north along the Albany Post Road.

Today, the tradition continues! Step into the historic Ferry House during The Great Jack O’Lantern Blaze and enjoy seasonal sips and festive treats in a space that has been serving travelers for over 200 years.
